You can book an appointment with Serendipity Therapy Services by calling or texting our office at 432-530-6452

Our team will walk you through the process, answer any questions, and help match you with the therapist who best fits your needs. We’ll also go over scheduling, insurance, or private pay options so you feel comfortable before your first session.

At Serendipity Therapy Services, we specialize in providing affirming counseling for children, teens, and families, with a particular focus on supporting neurodivergent individuals. Our therapists create safe, welcoming spaces where every client can be their authentic self while developing skills and strategies that fit their unique needs.

  • Children’s Therapy – Play therapy, art-based interventions, and expressive approaches help children build coping skills, process big feelings, and navigate challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, grief, and behavioral concerns.
  • Teen Therapy – We offer a supportive, judgment-free space for teens to explore emotions, identity, and relationships. We integrate CBT, DBT skills, mindfulness, and expressive therapies to encourage resilience and self-confidence.
  • Family Therapy – We partner with families to strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and create healthier patterns at home. Our approach often includes systemic family therapy, solution-focused strategies, and collaborative problem-solving.

Our team also has specialized training in advanced therapeutic modalities to address trauma, regulation, and identity work, including:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
  • IFS (Internal Family Systems)
  • Polyvagal-Informed Therapy
  • Somatic Approaches

By blending neurodivergence-affirming practices with evidence-based and creative approaches, we provide individualized care that fosters healing, growth, and emotional regulation for clients of all ages.

At Serendipity Therapy Services, we welcome clients across the lifespan, with a special focus on children, teens, and families. Our therapists are experienced in working with:

  • Children as young as 3 years old, using play and expressive therapies
  • School-age children and teens, supporting emotional regulation, identity development, stress, and relationships
  • Young adults and parents, often in the context of family therapy or parenting support

We specialize in providing neurodivergence-affirming care and work with individuals navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Our practice is inclusive and supportive of diverse backgrounds, identities, and family structures.

Serendipity Therapy Services is in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Optum, and Cigna, as well as most other major insurance providers. We also accept private pay for those who prefer not to use insurance.

To make therapy accessible, we offer a sliding scale option for clients who may need financial flexibility. If you’re unsure about your coverage, we encourage you to reach out to your insurance company to confirm your mental health benefits. Our team is happy to answer questions and help guide you through the process.

For clients who do not have or prefer not to use insurance, Serendipity Therapy Services offers private pay rates ranging from $70–$120 per session, depending on the therapist.

We also provide a sliding scale option to ensure that cost does not become a barrier to receiving care. If you’re interested in private pay or sliding scale rates, our team is happy to discuss options and help you find a plan that works for your family.

If we are out of network with your insurance, we can provide a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

During your first session, your therapist will go over your intake paperwork with you and take time to get to know you (or your child/teen, if it’s a family or child session). Together, you’ll talk through what brings you to therapy and begin creating a treatment plan, a set of goals to guide your work in sessions.

The first session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get comfortable with the process. By the end of the session, you and your therapist will work together to set up future appointments and begin the journey toward growth and healing.

At Serendipity Therapy Services, we believe that therapy is most effective when parents and caregivers are involved, while also respecting the privacy of children and teens.

  • For younger children, parents are often more directly involved. We may share updates, suggest strategies to try at home, and occasionally invite parents into sessions to support progress.
  • For teens, confidentiality is especially important to build trust. While we don’t share every detail of what your teen discusses, we do provide general updates on progress, themes we are working on, and ways you can support them outside of sessions.
  • For all families, we create open lines of communication. We encourage parents to share observations or concerns, and we work collaboratively to set goals.

This balance allows children and teens to feel safe opening up in therapy, while ensuring parents remain connected, informed, and supported in their role.
