Serendipity Therapy Services is in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Optum, and Cigna, as well as most other major insurance providers. We also accept private pay for those who prefer not to use insurance.
To make therapy accessible, we offer a sliding scale option for clients who may need financial flexibility. If you’re unsure about your coverage, we encourage you to reach out to your insurance company to confirm your mental health benefits. Our team is happy to answer questions and help guide you through the process.
For clients who do not have or prefer not to use insurance, Serendipity Therapy Services offers private pay rates ranging from $70–$120 per session, depending on the therapist.
We also provide a sliding scale option to ensure that cost does not become a barrier to receiving care. If you’re interested in private pay or sliding scale rates, our team is happy to discuss options and help you find a plan that works for your family.
If we are out of network with your insurance, we can provide a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
During your first session, your therapist will go over your intake paperwork with you and take time to get to know you (or your child/teen, if it’s a family or child session). Together, you’ll talk through what brings you to therapy and begin creating a treatment plan, a set of goals to guide your work in sessions.
The first session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get comfortable with the process. By the end of the session, you and your therapist will work together to set up future appointments and begin the journey toward growth and healing.
At Serendipity Therapy Services, we believe that therapy is most effective when parents and caregivers are involved, while also respecting the privacy of children and teens.
This balance allows children and teens to feel safe opening up in therapy, while ensuring parents remain connected, informed, and supported in their role.
